Posters can be a great addition to your home’s atmosphere and design. However, it can be tough when the poster keeps on rolling back up when you’ve got one end pinned down. Here’s some little tips to get you out of this predicament.

Method 1: Roll the poster back on itself

  1. Open the packaging of your poster and carefully slide the poster out. It might be easier to tip it so it slides easily out rather than grabbing and pinching which could lead to dents and damage.
  2. Straighten the poster out on a clean surface image side down. Please ensure the surface used is clean so your new poster doesn’t get dirty.
  3. Using the tube packaging, roll the poster over it the opposite way round to what it originally has.
  4. Take a rubber/elastic band or a sticker, whichever you prefer, secure your poster in the rolled up position for one hour.
  5. Once the hour is up, remove the rubber/elastic band or sticker and unravel your poster which should now be perfectly flat and ready to hang!

Method 2: Weigh the poster down

This method involves the first two steps from method 1 so ensure to read the above too.

  1. After repeating steps 1 & 2 from method 1, roll out and straighten your poster on a flat clean surface to not cause any damage or dirty your new purchase.
  2. Place a heavy object on each corner of your poster and in the centre to weigh it down and leave this for 24 hours.
  3. When the 24 hours is up remove the weighted objects to reveal a flat and ready to hang poster.

Please note to do all of the steps with caution! TRENDLEAP PRINTS is not liable for any damage caused during these methods. Feeling inspired? Shop our latest here:-
